Well - I haven’t posted much since school started on the second. Things are good two weeks in, you know, considering classes last week were canceled Wednesday through Friday. . .
Someone hates Iowa. We’ve had a record tornado season already, followed by record flooding. Down town Waterloo and Cedar Falls are WRECKED. Cedar Rapids is going through it now - things are just not good in that department. You can check out some pictures here.
My preorder of Metal Gear Solid 4 royally screwed me over. It should have been here Friday, but I think between flooded roads and the detour on I-380 I’ll be lucky if it gets here Monday. So much for over-night shipping.
My weekend was going to consist of dominating the game by today, writing a review tonight, doing something socially entertaining later tonight, and rechecking my homework tomorrow. So much for that. At least the homework part is getting done.
One highlight to this weekend? Ace Enders (of former The Early November fame) released a free album online via Fuse. Checking it out now, half way in - and I like it. You can get the album (streamed or song by song) here.
After the storm

Well, we finally got our internet back last night - it’s been out since Thursday night because of the storm. I knew a lot of rain had fallen, but I’m not sure I realized this much had fallen.
That’s normally all field behind our house but the river from just beyond those trees has obviously decided to shed it’s former shell.
Anyways - Metal Gear Online started last night and continues on until the 11TH, but Grand Theft Auto IV gets here Tuesday so I’m not sure which I’ll be playing more of. Crappy timing.
