Hey Luke, I’m excited to see what the “new site” will feel like. I’ve been spending the majority of my “free time” trying to figure out wordpress theming as web-design is increasingly a favorite hobby of mine. We’ll see how this goes–maybe if/when I get proficient at theming I’ll help you out when you need it? Anyways, Iowa is cold; however, at least the windchill is only negative single digits lately. As opposed to the negative 2345236563456456 celsius degrees that we are used to.

“If you haven’t heard about Smart Grid, listen up. Smart Grid is closely related to the National Animal Identification System (NAIS), and both programs are designed to spy on Americans.”

Lol. I have no idea what NAIS really is, but it surprises me that it would pertain to spying on Americans.

“Even more disturbing than the purpose of these government-condoned intrusions into our lives is the fact that the Obama Administration feels that Smart Grid is so important that it had to be funded in the stimulus package—which is supposed to be used for emergencies only.”

My understanding was that the stimulus package was to be used to stimulate our economy by funding any one of a variety of projects from infrastructure to various government programs… I wouldn’t say that these are any more “emergencies” than the Smart Grid (which is actually a government program). Although I’m pretty uninformed these days so I could be wrong..

ROFL. This made my day. Anyways, I have a couple of questions for you Luke:

1) Would having a rusty spike jammed into your eye be a legitimate excuse to leave school/work for the day?

2) Depending on your answer to number one, do you have a rusty spike I could borrow?
