YOU COULD HAVE BEEN RAPED

… in the butt.

Excuse me, but I feel the need to add some comic relief here. Normally I’m not a huge fan of embarassing/abusing the hell out of family members via videos on youtube. HOWEVER – if it makes this dumbass wake up and realize there are predators out there, then I’m all for it. IN THE BUTT!!! (Please note you can’t see the embedded video if you’re viewing this from a facebook feed, so I may just look like a creep saying in the butt. In the butt! IN THE BUTT!!! To resolve this issue, head on over to www.postblink.com. ;) In the butt.)

Ah, now it’s all posty-blinky-ish

Alright – now we’ve got some content flowing and, as I’d hoped, some new guests to the site other than our three new authors.

There are some things that are still in progress – the similar posts links under each article will need time before they become more accurate. Right now, some of the religious posts are linking to music posts which are linking to gaming posts, and I haven’t yet authored any posts about the new Halo game with the hymnal soundtrack so that’s just ludicrous.

Also need to continue working on both the sidebar and nav – I owe my friends over a The Adventures of Brad and Jordan some linkage.

Welcome, n00bs.

The general feel and design of the site has been (and is still) going through several changes lately – one of which was to support the introduction of new contributors on Postblink. Now I can officially say that my friends Craig and Hayley will be posting articles.

The entire purpose of bringing them on board was to get some new and more diverse opinions on music, movies, politics, and life in general on the site. That also means that articles on Postblink won’t neccesarily be the shared views of all the writers beind the scenes. You may agree, disagree, and even get angry at the new content to come – deal with it.

That’s the point afterall, isn’t it?

We’re still considering adding more authors here, so if you’re interested you can still contact me at staff@lucasj.net or any other form of contact you have for me.

Blogging Via Facebook

Alright, so. Facebook has a new blogging feature they call “notes”. It’s not as intricate as some of the other blogging services out there, but it’s a neat idea. My favorite part is that you can import feeds. Feeds are links to your blog that import the articles from them. This means that, by importing my rss feed (http://lucasj.net/blog/?feed=rss2) through my Facebook account, everything I write on my website’s blog shows up on Facebook. Then, I can of course also go back into edit them via Facebook and tag my friends. Nifty huh? I thought so. But 90% of my friends with blogs use other services. If you know how to find your rss url, that’s great. For those of you using MySpace, it’s incrediably easy. Here’s what you do.

1) Login to your MySpace.
2) Click “View My: Blog”
3) Copy the shortcut/url that “rss” leads to. You can see the “rss” link at the top of your blog, below the header, on the right side. It will look something like “http://blog.myspace.com/blog/rss.cfm?friendID=YOURPROFILEIDT”

Like I said. Nifty, huh? You can also do this with flickr feeds.

Mark Hoppus Interview With b182.com

WELCOME TO POSTBLINK! You’ve probably reached this page after clicking a link your friend sent or that you found on some blink-182 forum. Regardless of where you’ve come from, this is of course the b182.com interview that was conducted with Mark Hoppus. My page counts for this post seem to indicate that this is the last home on the internet for this interview – or at least the most relevant search result. Perhaps that’s because someone linked to it from the Mark Hoppus wikipedia page. Anyways, Postblink has gone through some changes since it’s first incarnation and thus the formatting on this post is a little off. I apologize for that. If you’re interested in opinions, politics, music, and the life of a twenty-something in general, please head to the main page and check out some of my other posts. Thanks!

PS – If you’ve somehow managed to miss this interview until now, I apologize up front!

b182.com finally posts a 20 question interview, which is much longer than it sounds, with Mark Hoppus in which he discusses Tom, AvA, Plus 44 and everything that happened during 2005 with blink-182.

This isn’t a hoax or a fake. b182.com is featured on Mark’s MySpace and the terms of the interview are here
