Sorry Luke... I couldn't figure out what my login username/password was. I guess it's been a while.

"It is not love to force the Bible down someone’s throat.
It is not love to turn your back on someone because they’re pregnant out of wedlock.
It is not love to deny someone’s sexuality if they are gay."

I would say you have a better understanding of this Christianity thing than most Christians. But here's some of my thoughts on the issue.

I don't know how God stands on homosexuality, he appears to be against it, but that's not to say he doesn't love homosexuals. I mean, it says he loves all people and I know all people suck at life. And, according to la bibla, all "sins" are equal so even if homosexuality was a sin, it would be no worse than the sins of the judgmental people who oppose it. (Actually, Jesus tends to favor the oppressed over the religious ALWAYS in the Bible).

Anyways, the bigger issue is that I think you can disagree with someone and still love them. I'm sure many people have family who are religious but they may not share the exact same views, yet they can love them anyways. So would it be acceptable to not agree with homosexuality but to still love the people for who they are?

The way I see it, you can tell people they have to be just like you or you won't love them or you can have enough security in yourself and what you believe to love people who are different from you.

I don't know who wrote it, but I love it: "God save the Christians."
