Life and Stuff
I’m not even going to joke. This new layout is throwing me off. I can’t even locate our gravatar images anymore. If I was more adept at this…
This past weekend was awesome. I would say it was aweso, but I was there and so it was gooood. Theta Delta Chi had a toga party. It was my first as you probably could have guessed judging by my inferior freshman status. Kick me, k? I went nuts with it, though I didn’t know it until I got to the party. I have some sort of complex where I always want to be number one in the outfit department at an event. That sounds superficial but I promise we can blame it on high school. If they hadn’t started the trend of voting me best dressed at prom, I wouldn’t be this way now. Bastards. Thanks for making me sound like a superficial hag. Then Greek formal earned me another best dressed and now I’m psycho about it.
I took my good friend Danielle to the fabric store with myself and Craig so we could shop for the ultimate toga attire. I’m so damn picky. I saw a lot of fabrics I liked. I turned down two that were to my particular style because they were pink. I hate pink. HATE pink. I found the right fabric for me but alas, I refused to pay $9 a yard when I had to buy five yards. So I left the cozy white thermal printed with little black skulls alone. I came out with royal purple satin printed with black velvet moons and stars, which is cool because I matched Craig’s royal purple cotton. I also matched Danielle’s gold silk printed with black stars. Matching fiesta.
Getting ready in my tiny dorm with seven people proved to be a task in keeping quiet. Every outlet was being used and my roommate and her nasty boyfriend pretty much wanted to destroy us. I turn into a girly reject when I hang out with Trista. I scream and say things like I would have in middle school when I was fitting in with the in crowd. (Eff that noise.) But it’s all in good fun. Once we all got it in gear and made it to the party, we realized the four of us girls stuck out like sore thumbs. The rest of the girls were dressed in white or played down colors. We looked like THIS.

Good game guys. At least we looked pretty cool. All in all a good night. Dancing until we thought our feet would betray us and fall off. Sleeping in until God knows when the next day.
P.S. I stole my post title from the first ever episode of Roseanne. Aww yeahhh.

Have to agree with you there, unfortunately…
Meh. The old theme was broke in IE and I couldn’t find a fix for the stupid browser - I want to build on this theme eventually and personalize it for Postblink.
I guess I could re-enable the old theme if enough people spoke up for it or enable users to choose their own theme if they’re registered on the site.
Yea, personalising a theme can be quite complex, but it reaps it’s rewards.
Like my theme, built up from scratch from the bare bones of the WP Classic theme. It might seem bland and basic, but since I know exactly what I’ve done to make it look the way it is, I can easily change it at will too.
