I’m trying out the new beta distro of Ubuntu linux. It’s a very solid o/s and I’m taking the opportunity to go over my server configuration skills again. Fun stuff - but not really.
I’m only really into it so I can start messing around with Ruby on Rails - which I’ve liked so far programming-wise.
Annnnd - we’re done. Great successs.

I’ve been wanting a Macbook Pro for a while now - I’m getting some sort of notebook before fall semester starts but I think I’ll end up with a Toshiba with the same specs and then download a copy of OSX for it since it’s the cheaper route hardware wise.
I didn’t realize they were playing in Des Moines. . . Wow - going to see if I can get some friends to hit that up with me. I’ll get back to you when I know for sure.
On April 2nd I believe I’m seeing The Matches at People’s Court venue. All Time Low, The Rocket Summer, Sonny, Forever The Sickest Kids are also playing, but I haven’t heard any of them except The Matches who I love and All Time Low who I haven’t made my mind up on.
